Award for Best Animated Short Film 2016
Even we’re all discussing our picks for this year’s 2017's and for 2016's Best Picture Oscar Awards and whether or not Leo is finally going to get his Academy Awards for The Revenant, and more over we can seeing the nominated short films can sometimes feel like annoying to collect all the toys in a series of feature film Happy Meals.Wow..!! Sounds ugly .. ha ha ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹ Fortunately, Shorts Films of 2016 in HD has us covered with theatrical releases of this year’s live action and animated shorts in plump for theaters as well as pay-per-view online streaming. Moreover, we could say, this week, I had the hope to catch the Academy’s nominees for Best Animated Short Film at Toronto’s TIFF Bell Lightbox. Here’s my ranking of the five films in this category, from weakest to Oscar-winning for 2017.

THE PREDICTED NOMINEES ARE

  • “Piper” – It has got  Alan Barillaro, director, and Marc Sondheimer, producer (Pixar Animation Studios)
  • “Inner Workings” – It has got Leo Matsuda, director, and Sean Lurie, producer (Walt Disney Animation Studios)
  • “Sous Tes Doigts (Under Your Fingers)” – It has got  Marie-Christine Courtรจs, director, and Ludivine Berthouloux, art director (Vivement Lundi! and Novanima)
  • “Blind Vaysha” – It has got Theodore Ushev, director (National Film Board of Canada)
  • “Borrowed Time” – It has got Andrew Coats and Lou Hamou-Lhadj, directors (Quorum Films)

For the past six years, well say,Disney or Pixar has been nominated in the sort out every year, and won twice (“Paperman” and “Feast”). However,This year both galleries have films on the shortlist, “Inner Workings” (Disney) and “Piper” (Pixar). Elsewhere animated shorts included in the 10 are Robert Valley’s “Pear Cider and Cigarettes,” Franck Dion’s “The Head Vanishes” and Andrew Coats and Lou Hamou-Lhadj’s “Borrowed Time.” Got any Guess which will pick for the first. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹

THE NEXT FIVE

  • “Happy End” – It has got Jan Saska, director (FAMU – Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague)
  • “The Head Vanishes” – It has got Franck Dion, director (Papy3D Productions, National Film Board of Canada and ARTE France Cinema Department)
  • “Once upon a Line” –It has got  Alicja Jasina, director (University of Southern California)

  • “Pearl” – It has got Patrick Osborne, director (Google Spotlight Stories/Evil Eye Pictures)
